I am non religious. By this I mean I do not follow, belong or practice any religion. This does not necessarily mean that I don't believe in God though. I am an atheist though. Which means that I do not believe in God. I am not religious and I am atheist. You're probably thinking "well they mean the same thing", but they do not. In reality, there are religions that are atheistic. There are strings of Hinduism, for example, that atheistic, and there are strings that believe in all 300-some odd gods. So to say that you are atheistic is good enough to establish whether or not you believe in a higher power, a supreme being, some force outside of our own, but it doesn't determine whether or not you belong to an organized religion. So, be sure to clarify when describing your beliefs, and or practices.
